Property of Prince Dom João de Orleans and Bragança, first born son of Prince João Maria de Orleans and Bragança and of the Egyptian Princess Fátima Chirine, the pousada is located in a house build in 1988 as a homage to the old mansions of Imperial times. With more than 2000 square meters of land and only 3 minutes walk from Paraty's Historical Center, the Pousada do Principe is one of the most beautiful and
acknowledged pousadas of the region, where guests can have a unique experience to go back in time and taste the cozy colonial architecture.
And you do not have to worry about Paraty's weather: the hostel has central water heating and anti-mosquito screens on the windows, all for the sensation of being in the midst of a natural paradise surrounded by the Atlantic Forest.

The Peró Restaurant came from a need to offer a gastronomic experience in the city of Paraty.
Our dishes are a fusion between Indigenous Cuisine and Brazilian Contemporary Food, with typically indigenous Brazilian products from the region of Paraty.
Our main objective is to serve the freshest ingredients in an experience that combines flavor, invention, tradition, provocation and affective memory.
This is the philosophy of Peró's cuisine, still supported by the constant search for simplicity, seasonality and respect for the small rural producer.
